Remarks

In IIT Admission can be taken by appearing for JEE. There are 2 chances first while appearing in 12th and one year after passing 12th, other details you can found on www.iitjee.com and nta.ac.in. After appearing in the exam AIR(all India rank) comes and colleges are given to students according to their rank in IIT and NIT and other government-funded institutes.

Course Curriculum Overview

All the teachers have their degrees from foreign universities or from IITs they are very interactive, helpful, and clear doubts very patiently and efficiently. Academics are not very stress-giving or hectic you can manage it simply if you have it in mind(if you do not allow the backlogs to create).

If you have more than average skills in any field like coding, graphic designing, photoshop, etc. There are unlimited opportunities for an internship at the college. Apart from these if you have great communication skills companies are there to hire you.

Placement Experience

This year the placement was around excellent,80% of students got their dream job and some didn't appear for the interview due to their dream of higher studies. The highest package was around 44 LPA and the average was 20.5 LPA in the companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Ponds, TCS, etc. If you have a hard time and don't get a placement you can appear for GATE etc. or approach higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is pretty simple but if you can't afford it, the banks are ready to sanction loans without interest for your studies in college. Many scholarships are there including the national and state.

Campus Life

According to me, it's the ideal place to experience it. One thing I would like to add is there are many events throughout the year but 3 of them are things that keep us ahead of other colleges, cultural fest(ZEITGEIST) lots and lots of fun, sports fest(AAROHAN), and one is technical fest(ADVITIYA). This is in short about the college since there are unlimited things which can only be explored by self.

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

The best out of best about iit ropar
