Entrance Preview

I scored 182 in jee advance. I opt for this as this is one of the best college in Himachal Pradesh for B.tech and also this location suits me. I choosed Computer Science because i was interested in it and also it has the greatest scope

Internships Opportunities

Yes off course. Our college offers lot of internships. It gives oppurtunities to each and every student and chances to go abroad. Top notch companies come for internships and stipends are good enough.

Campus Life

Campus life is professional. One of the best you will find in india. Environment is awesome and you'll hardly find any noise their. You'll find sports meet , dance competitions and other extracurricular activities throughout the year.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are great neat and clean. You have choices for type of room you choose. Enviorment is awesome and you will not notice any unwanted noise there. Mess food is good. You can't compare it to your mother's hand food but food is decent and good enough to provide you enough protien n energy.

Faculty

All ths faculties are exceptional and has a great knowledge. They are the ones who are not limited to a particular college. They are working for our country and every year does something for it. Their passion to teach ,to work and to invent is somewhat you'll never see in other college

Placement Experience:

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

Everything is available on Bahra University official website in which you can see the courses and fees structure. Admission form also available on website of bahra University. You can apply on the base of JEE, CUET, BUCET Entrance Test . I chose this college mainly because it offered comfirmed admission, i had also applied to a few other colleges but the fees were too high , making them less feasible. The overall experience of the bahra university is moderate

I applied for this college after the rejection from the nit as i was preparing for the jee.
