Remarks

Admission was through CAT. After CAT, WAT & PI were conducted under CAP colleges. All the details regarding CAT can be found on the official website and details regarding CAP can be found on the CAP conducting college of the particular year.

Course Curriculum Overview

To be honest, this was the best available college to me. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:80. Case-based approach is followed like all other IIMs. Term exams were timely. Relative grading is followed like other IIMs.

Internships Opportunities

As stated earlier, all the details regarding the summer internship can be found on the institute's website. The summer internship process starts in the 1st trimester itself. This is an excellent opportunity especially for the freshers to make their first mark in the corporate arena.

Placement Experience

Placements start from September-October in the 5th trimester. All the details of the placement, as well as the summer internship, can be found on the institute's website. Many companies also offered PPOs based on summer internships.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were a bit on the lower side considering it is now among the IIMs as well as its remote location. No scholarship or financial assistance was provided to me. I got placed at an MNC with a decent package.

Campus Life

Agnitreya is the annual fest which was conducted online owing to the pandemic. All types of sports and extracurricular activities are available on the campus although the maintenance for the same can be improved.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are provided to all the students. 1st year students have to share the room while 2nd year students are provided single occupancy rooms. Microwave, refrigerator and washing machine are provided on each floor. Food is provided in mess which is of decent quality. Charges for the same are Rs 200/day.

Hostel Fee: INR 156000 per year

Interview Experience

WAT and PI were conducted after shortlisting from CAT. Topic for WAT was a current topic related to RBI. I took coaching for these rounds as well as learnt from the interview experiences available online.

A peaceful college life,

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was very good. The specialization which I chose was a very new concept and this university provides that particular specialization. The teaching methods were also very good with experienced teachers and weekly presentations also with different assignments.

Placement Experience:

In digital marketing nearly 90% it the students are placed in top startup companies like the Boat, Minimalist and all who needs digital presence to sell their products. Jobs offered are of 50-80k a month and for MBA freshers this is a kind package.

Campus life

Placement Experience:

For masters student student from 3rd semester are eligible for the campus placement. For bachelor students from 6-7 semester students are eligible for the campus placement. Federal bank, taj hotel, Techmutant software solutions, cradlewise, patanjali, etc. many more companies are there which visit the campus. There is 60-70% criteria for students to get the placement as 60% are the eligibility criteria for many companies and some companies have 70% eligibility criteria for the placement. Our university has 85% placement in dehradun region as compared to other universities. My plans are taking a good job and work hard to become independent.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate is around 90%. Students become eligible for campus placements from the start of 3rd semester, although you can get in earlier through summer internship and ppos. Overall average package is around 8 lakh. Top 15% students get 14-17 lakh. Highest package for this year was 33 lakh. Many top companies like Amazon, Adani, EY, PwC, KPMG, Accenture, Adobe, Microsoft, Infosys, BlueDart, Dell, Deloitte, Genpact and more come to the campus. I aim on getting into big 4 consulting firms.

i think from 3 rd semsester students are eligble for campus placements iam from 1 sem thats why i didnt eligble for that higest is like 20 lakhs and lowest is 3 lakhs per anam they show 90 percent but actually only 10 percent of students get placed i am planning to get a job ncr

Insights of the college through student eye

Placement Experience:

At the end of end semesters college started to get internship and their are a number of them of every type. Students should choose it of any kind. For placement companies started to come in collage in 3rd semesters and one should apply for placement. Till now many companies were there including 99acers, Arvind fasion, Wipro, Google and so on.

The IIM of the North

I found the admission process easier (Level Medium on Difficulty scale). The process started with the CAT application form, then the CAT exam, followed by a call letter for an Interview and then the selection email. ALL ABOUT IIM KASHIPUR

No, specifically I haven't received any counselling related to IIM Kashipur or other IIM institutes. But the first advantage I saw was there were a lot of industries visit the IIM Kashipur campus.
