A most common reason for not joining most of the colleges I applied, to is the inability to the desired stream. This was due to low rank or quick fill-up of some streams in some colleges. As per average 70% above in 10th and 12% used to be a basic criterion but getting a seat was based on your joint exams scores only
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is similar to that of other Govt run institutions. The faculty is excellent, with deep knowledge about their field is expertise. Student-teacher ratio varies from 1:6 to 1:60 depending on subjects, topics, projects and many more
Internships Opportunities
You are suggested to intern in the domain of your study, overall it's a good experience. You get to see what you learned, in theory being implemented in practical scenarios. Also, tested by assigning you tasks and projects
Placement Experience
4th-year students are eligible for placements, close to 20-30 companies visit the college in both forms virtual and live forms. But most jobs cracked by the students are open to all platforms. Close to 90% of ECE, CSE and IT gets placed, 70% of EE and about 50% of CE and I get placed
Fees and Financial Aid
This is a college under Govt of West Bengal, the fees are affordable for the majority of the public. Apart from this, there are schemes like the half-fee full-fee fee waiver. Many alumni and other scholarships also run in the college, supporting the next gen of tomorrow
Campus Life
There are many active clubs, both technical and cultural. Helping students to showcase their talent and also develop skills in the domains they desire. Clubs like the Center for Innovation(CFI) covers Robotics, Electrical and Electronics, Innovations, and many more Entrepreneurship Development Cell to harness the skill required to be an entrepreneur Coders for the code lovers Dance, Art, Music and many many more clubs exist too
