The course curriculum is better than other colleges. College faculty members were very good, they are always helping us anytime and anything that we need. The faculty members' Qualification was Mtech or PhD.

Internships Opportunities

All-year students can apply for internships but 2nd and 3rd-year students can apply for internships. College is provided us with many internships and college will also help with this. The internship stipend is 10000 a month

Placement Experience

The 3rd and 4th-year students are eligible for campus placement. Many companies visit our college like Amazon, Flipkart, TCS, and Tech Mahindra. The highest package is 24 LPA and the lowest package is 4 LPA. A total of 80 per cent of students are placed but in cse 100 percentage students can be placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fees structure in cse is 4 lakh and the hostel fees are 2.5 lakh. The college provides scholarships to a few extraordinary students every year. The college is under the SKSGI group.

Campus Life

The college gets 40000 rupees every semester. Here one big library available, and so many types books are available here like computer related, journals are also available. Here sports are also conducted every year.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

BCET Durgapur.Good campus but bad faculty and placement opportunities.

I say this earlier. First of all my JEE rank was little bit low, so I can't get any govt college. And at that time the CSE fees in almost every private college is arround 4 lakhs. But they asked high donation. Which was not affordable by my family. So I choose this college. Also I hear all private colleges are same.we have to do everything by ourselves.
