Remarks

The admission process was totally online only we have to verify our documents offline. At that when we have Merit-based admission. The application form was on DU's official website and there only u have to pay fees. Ya, I got admission through the reservation only there are like OBC, SC, ST, PWD, and more reservation benefits are there.

Course Curriculum Overview

If you are from a commerce background then it's a very good course to go with. Faculty members are well qualified they are having a good experience in teaching. The student's ratio is not too good we can say ok if I give a ratio then it's around 70:30. Exams are held on time and you have to study regularly if you want to get good marks.

Internships Opportunities

Many of us get internships through placement cells mainly we get internships in startups. We get to various types of projects mainly depends upon the type of company ya no doubt we face many new challenges which will help in our future.

Placement Experience

We have a good placement on our campus if I talk about the highest package last year only one guy gets a 20lakhs PA package and if talk about average is around 4.5 lakes PA. My plan is to go for any government jobs or to start a business.

Fees and Financial Aid

If we talk about fees it's good as it's a govt. College so the fees are nominal only not too high a normal family can afford but the accommodation is very costly in Delhi but for the fees, College have scholarship also for the needed one only.

Campus Life

We can say that DU is known for its campus we get to interact with many new people and get to know about their culture and all as they all are from different regions. The library is good we have an AC in our library so the temperature is maintained and positive vibes to sturdy. There are many groups and societies in the college.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
