Remarks

Eligibility for the course is PCM in Your 11th and 12th, with at least one attempt of JEE with the presence of a valid score card. The application form can be found and filled out on the college website ( https:/ /www.ncuindia.edu/ ). I don't remember the exact application fees, but it's lesser than most Private colleges in Delhi NCR. Application dates are not fixed for every year, it depends on the result dates of Board results and JEE results and the form comes out after 10-15 days of result declaration. I didn't get any reservation benefits (not even Haryana domicile), and I don't think there is any kind of special reservation given to anyone, but there is a fee concession cum scholarship on basis of merit, minimum class 12th percentage for the same is 85%. The admission process is easy and free of confusion.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I started doing programming with python in class 11th and fell in love with the possibilities and technological advancements in the field of Computer Science and Programming. Thus, I made up my mind to pursue Computer Science in my college and build my career in it. I joined NCU ( Northcap University ) with a Specialization in AI & ML, and I feel it's been a nice journey till now. The faculty-to-student ratio is also average ( approx 1:50 ), but it is managed by the Professors nicely. The faculty is also qualified with at least a Masters's in the field, and some even have a Ph.D., they teach each concept nicely with help of ppts and real-life examples and take a sufficient amount of time to teach each topic for better understanding. There are 2 exams in a semester, Minors (mid-sem) and Majors (end-sem). they happen with a gap of around 1.5 months each. The level of exams is also good, they test on the basis of problem-solving abilities of a student and proper understanding of a subject.

Internships Opportunities

4

The students are provided with several opportunities to do internships in their 3rd year, it can be in different fields based on a student's interests and capabilities. Common roles offered are Cyber Security Intern, Marketing Intern, Full-Stack Intern, and Software Engineering, Intern. The stipend is based on the company and the roles and can vary from an exponential margin. Some companies coming to hire interns are Fidelity International, NCR Corporation, many startups, etc.

Placement Experience

4

There is a dedicated Placement Cell that is active all the time in making relations and attracting potential employers where students can get a great head start in their career. The highest package in 2021 was around 55 LPA ( international ) and 20 LPA ( domestic ). The average package is around 5 LPA. Placement percentage is also good i.e. 95% and almost everyone gets placed and many students go abroad to do their masters from reputed universities around the world. I personally plan to grab a nice job opportunity in the field of Software Engineering by the end of my program.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite high as compared to campus size, but it is compensated with nice labs, well-lit and Air Conditioned classrooms, and a great location being in the middle of the tech hub of north India i.e. Gurgaon. There is a Scholarship cum Fee-Concession Programme, which is divided into different brackets of amounts based on merit basis of class 12 boards' percentage, the minimum criteria for the same is 85%. I don't know about on-campus jobs and stipends but I do know that students can carry on their research with Ph.D. students and Professors which can give them a great experience in the field of research.

Campus Life

4

Culturally the University is good, there is an annual fest called Momentum which is conducted in October, it has different competitions which attract a lot of students from different universities around Delhi NCR. There is a vast library with an ample amount of books based on the course and also outside the course. Students don't have to buy books from outside and can get them from the library itself for a time of 3 months. Classrooms are also neat and clean with a Projector and are properly ventilated and Air-Conditioned. The sports facility is also nice with sports ranging from table tennis to lawn tennis and from football to basketball. It has a proper Incubation Center for young entrepreneurs where they can pitch their startups, work on their development, and get proper funds for making them successful. There are various clubs and societies which a student can join based on their interests and likes.

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
