Remarks
In our time admission is given based on rank declared by ACPC. For this rank, they consider 60% of the Gujarat board and 40% of GUJCET. For admission to any college. In Gujarat registration is required in acpc after they launch the admission brochure. In that brochure, all the details of college like intake required rank according to cast, and fees are given.
Course Curriculum Overview
I think the course curriculum is average but not too bad for being a chemical engineer. In the chemical department, most of the faculty completed their MTech from reputed colleges and they have a lot of information on the field of chemical engineering. I think the University exam and mid-semester exam are very easy and the time required to clear the exam one day is more than enough.
Internships Opportunities
After the completion of the 3rd year, it is mandatory to do an internship of a minimum of 15 days, and college faculty help in finding a company for an industrial internship. In the last semester, it is compulsory to do 12 weeks internship or mega project and this internship is very useful to get industrial knowledge while applying our basic knowledge.
Placement Experience
In around mid of 7th-semester company arrived for campus placement. Around all the companies offer an average package of 5 LPA. Some MNCs offered like the Adani group are 6 LPA, and Reliance is offering 7.5 LPA. The best thing is that almost all the student is placed on a college campus in these MNCs or local companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Ldce is a government college and fees for one year are very cheap around 2500 per year. Also, scholarships are available for students like MYSY and DIGITAL GUJARAT etc. This scholarship also gets food bills and rent. This college is best for engineers whose intent is to get a jobs from the college campus. In our senior batch around all the students were placed in core and non-core companies and some of that company is MNCs like Reliance, Adani group, Accenture, MG motors, etc.
Campus Life
The College campus is very big and they include a library with thousands of books, a canteen,4 mesh for college students, student store for college students to buy stationery. At college national level as well as state-level events organized by various groups of Ldce like lakshya national level event, thanak, etc.
