Remarks

The addmission process was very good it didn't take much time the hospitality was also very good and the teachers are very cooperative with everyone coming for addmission the process was done very fast

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I have much interest in it and I want to become a civil engineer the faculty is very good here every problem is solved by the faculty every child properly listens to teaching method is very good they have much technology for teaching a child term exam are not difficult for those who are regular and listen to the teachers

Class Size: 3000Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship is very good opportunity for a student which is provided by the college and many projects are offered by many big companies many children got advantages of internships and many got selected in it

Placement Experience

My plan after the degree is to get a placement or to get a job. Many companies visit here. Students are eligible after the degree of BTech for placement in any company coming to the average high package was around 24lakh

Fees and Financial Aid

Cost is not that much for studying here its normal like 30 thousand for btech per sem. I think its a very good amount with these facilities and they also provide many scholarship exams for the students by which students get relief for the fee

Campus Life

Each and Every book is provided in our college library no problem is there for finding books even a teacher also helps us. Journalism has a separate book corner their is provides many knowledgeable things extracurricular activities like singing dancing sports are also there

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

Everything is available on Bahra University official website in which you can see the courses and fees structure. Admission form also available on website of bahra University. You can apply on the base of JEE, CUET, BUCET Entrance Test . I chose this college mainly because it offered comfirmed admission, i had also applied to a few other colleges but the fees were too high , making them less feasible. The overall experience of the bahra university is moderate

I applied for this college after the rejection from the nit as i was preparing for the jee.
