Remarks
Senior-junior interaction is impressive. With the most hostels next to each other, you can always find a group of seniors talking to or chatting with their juniors at the canteen. The various groups also help to mingle with the seniors who share similar interests as you.
Entrance Preview
I took the prestigious JEE 2016 examination to get into this college and I scored 210 marks out of 372 and my AIR was 451 (General Category). I opted for this college as it was the best my rank could get me. I had no prior knowledge or idea of the college or its status. But, now I know that it is one of the best colleges.
Campus Life
There is almost zero ragging case reported, so it is quite safe here. People come here from all over the country and mingle very quickly and easily, so I can say that VCET induces a sense of brotherhood among the students. Gender ratio is average
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities took me by surprise. I wasn't expecting them to be "that" good. I like it maybe because I got a single occupancy room. There are twin-sharing rooms as well, which are bigger, of course. The rooms are pre-equipped with a bed, a chair, a study table, a tea table, a cupboard, a tube light, a fan
Faculty
With the exception of a few, most of the faculties are extremely dedicated and genuinely interested in teaching. The Professors are always willing to entertain any queries. And when they don't have an answer to them immediately (which is quite rare) they see to it that it is the first thing they address the next day.
