Entrance Preview

JEE or direct admission, admission can be through JEE marks and direct admission 50+% in 12 classIfy you have good marks in jee then you can get scholarship also.i opted for this college because of the infrastructure and the faculty was very supportive

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was good. We had focus on practicals along with a decent amount of lectures and discussions on various relevant topics. Automation, production engg, hvac, fluid mechanics , solid design were some good electives. We learnt a good amount of mechanics in SOM. Engineering design.

Internships Opportunities

College provides internships. During our time HCL used to come and offer internships. Stipend was 1500 per month. Today I presume s lot more companies from Varied sectors home.

Placement Experience

Placements during our time were tough since not many companies used to visit campus. Selections are tough since supply was more than demand. Today lot more companies come for placements and scenarios have changed. During our time GENPACThad come and they selected me from campus with a salary of 1.80 lacs per annum.

College faculty was good specially the mechanical faculty. Professors are sincere and practically knowledgeable. Basic level of professors was good and conceptually they were strong. On top of that practicals gave us s good insight into the subjects.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.
