Course Curriculum Overview

Now I am pursuing a btech in Agricultural Engineering at this college. 20 faculty are available for each branch in the Btech course. Most faculty are PhD holders and have good experience and teaching styles.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College provides an internship per semester. We are doing an internship at OFMRDC ( Odisha farm machinery research and development centre). There is no stipend available. You have to pay for this internship.

Placement Experience

For the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. In agricultural Engineering, the company TAFE visited. There is an average of 4 to 7 lakh per annual. A maximum of 50% of students get placements. After degree, I want to place for Higher study.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are various course fees for each branch in btech. Mostly the common course fee is 80000. Pay the course fees part-wise within a year. College provides various scholarships like state scholarship portal, national scholarship portal etc.

Campus Life

There is available free wifi campus. Per year there is celebrating the musical night, annual sports, annual functions etc. Have a suitable classroom with an air conditioner. Every week, there is a hobby club every Thursday.

Hostel Facilities

There are 3 hostels. 2 hostels are for boys and one is girls. The hostel fees for a year is 65000. There is a canteen building. In where the students are get meal 3 times per day. To take a seat for hostel ,have to clear previous year fees and 30000 advance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

Best College in this Budget

I applied in SOA and Trident Academy because of the high course fee ,i didn't do the addmission. Gift is Autonomous college and my elder brother preferred me this college and the fee is affordable. No I don't scored good in JEE so I clearly admitted in GIFT. Students must be attended JEE,OJEE exam or others engineering exams and there is no certaint cutoff for the course.
