Remarks
try to pass it or only brand freaks should opt as it provides a little bit better placement opportunities because of the parent college
Entrance Preview
I took WBJEE to get an admission to this college and i had scored only 48%, the only good college available for my score that was available at that time.
Course Curriculum Overview
being a non IIT and NIT college it was similar to all the rest of the college of the state, mediocre. the teachers were good, in reading out whatever was reading in the pamphlet which they would prepare one night before taking the lecture.
Internships Opportunities
No the college did not provide any internships with any stipends to us.
Placement Experience
the placement would be done along with the parent college , techno india salt lake. we had on campus companies like tcs, cts, capgemini etc. overall it was good considering the fact thaat the companies would come to the college only because of the tag 'techno india' that we all had.
College Events
one annual event and the name for that is forgotten by me as of todday
Fee Structure And Facilities
the fees is on the higher given that it has become a brand name becuse of the parent college.
Fees and Financial Aid
none as such
Campus Life
none as such. gender ration was normal, fewer girls to boys. labs were pretty standard, no extracurricular however student swould do that among themselves and very little help from the college
Hostel Facilities
no idea as i was a day scholar
Alumni/Alumna
none known to me as of now
Exam Structure
since the college is affiliated to WBUT so it had to follow the curriculum and the course and the exam pattern provided by the WBUT university itself
Admission
we has to undergo a counselling session where i was asked the name of the college and the stream which i wanted to take and i opted for this college and the counselling process was a breeze to attend. no other questions or anything were asked. also i had to present a DD for inr 500 as advance admission fee to the college.
Faculty
the teacher were all qualified, degree wise and they were totally new to lectures. they were quiet a young batch of staff themselves. only a few experience trechers were there and they were the respective HODs.
