Rajabajar science college is very beautiful and one of the special colleges .here the science department is so good for any students. hostel facilities are just mind-blowing. In West Bengal, Calcutta University is the best

Course Curriculum Overview

Here every year arrange three-semester exams like the first semester next mid-semester after last semester.Mid semester called a class test .in Calcutta University exam is to difficult and exam process also, one of very strictly exam process included Calcutta university and very tough for pass this exam.

Internships Opportunities

At Calcutta University internship opportunity is very beautiful. .here every lab like a chemistry lab, physics laboratory, computer laboratory, electronics laboratory also are so good and very clean and cool

Placement Experience

I should observe that our college placement is awesome ????. But in any case, if I can not get any placement then I also apply gate exam and complete the m-tech course. after m- tech I should take any company job.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships like the Swami Vivekananda scholarship benefit get students. those Students get 60% marks every year these students could apply for this scholarship. if any student do not get 60% marks, this student does not apply this scholarship

Campus Life

This is a very important part of every college. Calcutta University has every union like the student union, hostel union, and program union .they worked in every social work on the university campus .like program arrangements, and student meetings.

Hostel Facilities

I am also satisfied with Calcutta university hostel .here has approx 23 -25 hostels.All hostel facilities are very good. Every day the hostel gave four mils. At first breakfast at 6.00 am next lunch at 11.00 am and afternoon tiffin 6.00 pm and dinner gave 9.00 pm

Hostel Fee: INR 3600 per year

Interview Experience

No here group discussion, interview not included in this university .it is arranged every exam time and placements time .here admission through wbjee(West Bengal joint entrance examination).every year wbjee board arrange this exam and our college collected their student through this exam rank and took admission.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I have applied in Scottish Church College ,Bongo Basi college and Ashutosh college and City College.
