Remarks

They have two shifts of college ( day shift & evening shift) based on that they provide admission if you are day shift you should apply by government quota . If you are applying for evening shift that was management quota every one should apply by online mode via college website then they will announce the eligible students on notification board

Course Curriculum Overview

In dgvc they provide quality and good faculty to teach and educate the students and the college is good in arts and science studies and even the staff have a friendly relationship with students then they have proper time gap to conduct examinations before the semester they conduct many class internal assessment test to train the students.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 3500 per year

Internships Opportunities

I get a job at a college placement of pick your trail company it is a tourism company I get the role of salesmanship they provide many placement facilities to the students they have so many of the company to hire their students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Here as a student, you have two options one is a day college another one evening college if the day college has to provide minimum & low fees structure because it was a government quota the Madras University undertakes the college as a day shift so they just get 3500 per annum and they also provide scholarship by the government the students based on the caste category and we move to even shift they get High feed from the evening college because it was management quota.

Campus Life

In this college they have every updated book and journal in the library it's very useful to the students and staff and they have very good infrastructure and they have NSS &NCC & ROTARACT CLUB & FINE ARTS CLUB etc then they have every sports facility to the students it has successful and achieved college of sports.

Life at PSGCAS

Placement Experience:

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

Madras School of Economics - A Comprehensive Review for Bachelor's

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Political science syllabus in our college is pretty upgraded. The way it's structured is also pretty good. For a student of Political Science, they first gives us an introduction of the discipline theoretically explaining the subject before moving to it's real life examples. Out syllabus covers almost everything that is required for a Political Science graduate. Faculties make it even more effective using assignments and their lectures. We also have inter-disciplinary courses.

I choose DG vaishanvcollege for its strong academic reputation, affordable fees structure and excellent placement support especially in HR and marketing . So i applied LIBA ( Loyola institute of business management and SRM ) other than DG vaishnav college . I got acceptance from DGVC and SRM and i got regected from LIBA . I chose DGVC as it has affordable fees of 4 lakhs in total , also they are giving duel specialisations, also its affilated to university of madras , placement support and location advantage. I got rejection from liba as the cut off was not clear as my percentile was below 80 as the cut of was 85 plus. The admission process was quiet simple for DGVC as the - 1. Eligibility to apply was min 60 % in Bachelor degree 2. TANCET exam was preffed we have to submit the application through online portal of DGVC.
