Remarks

College administration block is quite good. I never found any problems with it. I got all my documents attested on time. it's not even cumbersome process. Now it has became easier with the introduction of online payment system.

Entrance Preview

I took some law entrances exams such as AILETS and CLAT. I scored pretty well. I didn't choose any law college for myself. After my 12th board result, I chose to go for University of Delhi over law colleges. I sat for those exams as my back-up options.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I would appreciate the course structure of University of Delhi. This course is dynamic. In this, I studied different subjects apart from all types of accounting like financial, corporate, cost and management, it includes e-commerce, international business, entrepreneurship, and many others.

Internships Opportunities

College organise internship fair for students to get into paid and non-paid internships. Mostly, companies provide certificates, and letter of recommendation. I have done my internship with EYTech at Noida which provided me INR 4000 a month and certificate for the services I offered to them as Business Development Intern.

Placement Experience

3.5

Last year, Ernst and Young(EY) took 3 students for audit profile, British Telecom(BT) took 6 students. This year, not a single company came to my college, Through Campus Placement Cell in University Campus, FIS Global Pvt. Ltd. took 1, BT Took 2 and Genpact took 7 students. Package varies from companies to companies from 3.95LPA to 2.4LPA.

College Events

4.5

Every department has its society. And society conducts freshers, fest and farewells. College organises its cultural fest and annual day as well. Apart from department societies, there are some other societies such as debating, dramatics, dance, music etc which conducts their events as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's a central university. Fees is feasible. Fees depends on two factors, and they are college and course. My fees for B.com hons in Rajdhani college varies from INR 9000 to INR11000 per year. It's a three year degree course. Srcc charges INR 27000 for the same course.

Fees and Financial Aid

College provides lots of scholarship on merit basis. Students who secured first position in the year get INR 5000 by college at college annual day. I have no clue about loan facility.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus is pretty good. There are two block in the campus, one for commerce and arts, another for science streams. Apart from classrooms, campus has canteen, ground, seminar room, three staff rooms, and personal room for HOD, auditorium, and gardens. There are 3 main entrances. For extra curriculars, we have cricket, volleyball, badminton in sports. We have debating, dance, music societies as well.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

My college don't provide hostel facility. I stay nearby as paying guest. I shared my room with a friend and my landlady provides me all the meals of a day along with milk and tea once a day. I pay INR 8000. Food is good. Room is equipped with Geaser and AC.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were really great. Some of them scored 90% in their semesters. They were placed too. Not as such any network with alumni, but yes with seniors and super seniors.

Exam Structure

University's exam schedule is pretty good. They conduct exams on time. On the very first day of every semester, we get calendar with all the coming holidays and exams datesheet. Exam takes place in November and May. It takes an average of 15-20 days to complete all the exams of all the courses

Admission

I got into Rajdhani college, University of Delhi for b.com(hons.) I filled an online form which was there is the university's website. When the board results were out. University started taking admission by opening first list for colleges along with the courses. Two to three days were given to enroll themselves in your college who all are eligible in the first list. After closing of first list, second list comes out, then third. And like this process goes on.

Faculty

4

Faculty of my college has qualified teachers. Some teachers have done PHD. They take regular classes and along with classes they take tutors(extra classes) too. We had one Head of the Department. We can go to head anytime we want if we find any issues. He was polite.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
