Remarks

No need to do any kind of exams, the only thing you need is a better percentage. There are no application charges, and no reservations for ST, SC, OBC. This college is attendance free you don't need to come daily.

I choose this course because I want to know how business works, there are so many faculty members and they are very helpful. Every class have almost 120 to 150 students. Professors are well qualified and their teaching methods are so easy.

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of study is way cheaper than any other college. I'm doing b.com and my semester fees is only 1500rs you can also apply for a scholarship, if you have any family problems then contact with family can give you some cut-offs

Campus Life

Every month there is an annual fest with so many things to do. They have a huge library and reading area, there are so many books over there. The classroom is a little bit dirty. And they have sports and extra curriculums to do.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are big enough and very clean . And the meal quality is not so good , there are lots of options for vegitarian and non-vegetarians like chicken, fish . Hostels are soo much cheap. They have lots of rooms so...no need to worry rooms are available .

Interview Experience

There are no Group discussion , no interviews, no written test for the addmission.The only thing you need is good score in 12th boards atleast 75% to take admission in college. You fill a form that's it

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
