Remarks
Admission was on a merit basis. ( Class 12 percentage) The application form was available on the official Delhi University website and the registration fee was Rs. 250. From this year onwards (2022), the University will be conducting an entrance test for admission (CUET), which I feel is the more reliable way of selecting the candidates.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I had an interest in Commerce and wanted to continue it in my further studies. Also, this was the best course available in Delhi University in commerce. The class was about 50 students and there were 2 sections in our course. The teachers are highly qualified and have the best teaching methods for the students and are highly cooperative. Semester exams were held every 6 months and the difficulty level was ' moderate'.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for a whole year is Rs. 7825. If you're an outstation student, your monthly expenditure will come to be around rs. 15000 excluding the fee. The placement cell was very helpful in providing internships to the students.
Campus Life
Each society of the college conducts its own annual fests and events. The fests are generally conducted in the month of April- May. The large variety of books was available at the library which helped us to study our course without purchasing any extra books. Also, the library was recently renovated and all the necessary infrastructure. A large number of opportunities are provided by the college if we talk about extracurricular activities. Societies used to organise different competitions and events almost every month which had decent prize money. There are many societies in the college which provide ample opportunities to the students in personality development and building their CV.
