The eligibility of B.A.LL.B (h) is 60% in the class 12 examination from any board. The application form and every detail have been given on the JB law college official website. The form fill-up the date and the latest news are uploaded on the website itself. The admission process is quite easy n understandable for everyone.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.A.LL.B(h) is an integrated program of 5 years for students who are willing to take an entire law career. The teaching faculty of my college is well experienced and impart knowledge in a very creative and different way. The class of 120 students has been divided into iinto60 sections each. The exams are conducted at Gauhati University.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 27600 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of our course is 27600 per year. I still haven't received any scholarship on campus. I haven't received any financial assistance till today from the campus during my session from 1 to 4 semesters.

Campus Life

Our campus celebrates every festival, function, independence day, republic day, etc. in a very respectful and grand way with proper manners. Our library provides us with all the books required for our course.

Hostel Facilities

I have rented a paying guest within walking distance of my college campus. The rent is 6000 per month. Three times a day meal is provided for both veg and non veg girls. A single bed and a table are provided by the owner of our room.

Interview Experience

I was selected on a merit basis, later interview was held for the selected students on the campus itself. Out of the selected 500 students 120 were qualified in the interview session and made it to admission. Basic general knowledge and current affairs were asked in the interview.

A Grounded College Experience

Placement Experience:

To be honest, I don't know much about the placement mechanism at my University. Most of the students mainly go for LLM, either in India or abroad. Other than this, some go fo judiciary examination. In terms of campus placement, every year, on average, 15 students get placed out of the strength of around 60 students. Students, on the other hand, secure placement on their end too. My plans after getting the degree are to first practice in court, and then attempt the judiciary examination.

Internship experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very good where the studentsget to experience the real life legal situation. The college has many seminars where many renowned speaks and other legal professionals come to give lecture on various topics of law which helps the students to learn more about the different fields of law. There are also legal aid camps where the students get to know the legal situation in underdeveloped regions and provide free legal services. The college also organises court visits, moot court competitions, legal debates etc which helps the students to enhance their rwuired skills in this course. However there can be some improvements in the moot courts competition by encouraging the students and giving them flexibility to participate in the competition without being bias. The exams are conducted timely in the mid of the month and the difficulty level is prominent for any law student in this college.

Journey at NLUJAA

Placement Experience:

From the 5th year students become eligible for placement even many got PPO before completion of course. Khaitan & CO once visited in the campus , highest package is not disclosed , average can be 800000 per year . This year many got PPO . My plan after graduation to do LLM and prepare for higher level exams .

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is improving and prospering high. The final yearites this year were placed at reputed firms like ZEUS Law, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan attorneys etc. The highest package achieved is concealed. Well my plans after degree is to sit for competitive exams also State judiciary exams.

Just lecture, ppt presentation maths (math is mean what the.), give notes from internet. Science department is good. But for others just see another college otherwise you'll regret. Drastic improvement is need. I don't like it at all. I'll say it is mid. It is ok as i said before.

TLC in a nutshell

Course Curriculum Overview:

My choosing of this course stands on the basis to bring forth change in the society even if by a little margin. Theory alone could never prepare you for real life endeavours, therefore practical knowledge is very necessary and this college's curriculum encourages practical application well. The college premises could be improved a little and teaching methods could be improved to be more engaging and enjoyable for the students. There should be a balance between giving notes and lectures on topics of said subjects. There is ample time between exams if one studies by managing time better, the exams are moderate and question pattern is fairly understandable too.

My honest review about my Dispur law college

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is what I'm interested in pursuing. I want to be educated and get knowledge to be able to help others or myself in times of difficulties that involve court representation. Faculty includes good and qualified teachers, some are better than others but overall it depends upon the student to make the best out of any situation. I will take admitted to another college but that's my opinion. All teachers have different teaching methods. Some are good at speaking skills and communication skills but some lack them. Term exams are easy if you study that's the point and passing will also be easy if you study well enough. It's not as difficult in the first few semesters but as we approach the mid-semester it gets real serious to pay attention in the class and grasp the complicated terms of the law.

I did not apply to any other colleges as my dream was to get into this college only. The college does not require a CLAT exam (but soon there will be). So, the forms of the admission are out in the college portal where the students have to fill out their form and after that there will be a date of the interview which is either written or oral taken by the faculty members of that college. Then after that interview the selected candidates are asked to go to the college for document verification (all these information are given through the notice in the college website) . Then after the verification, the students have to pay the required admission fees. The cut off of the exam is quite high and there are reservations for the SC, ST, OBC.
