Remarks

Merit-based admission to Shree Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management. Required merit for BCA course in intermediate school 50 percentage and high school percentage 50. I don't want improvement in the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose BCA because I want to become a software engineer so I choose this course and I love to write code, etc. The faculty and student ratio was good. There are 4 exams in each semester 4th exam were hard to score good marks.

Internships Opportunities

Offered under internships with stipend companies are TCS, Wipro, HCL, and so on. I'm in 1st semester and I'm preparing for internships so I'm not experienced yet. But I'm fully prepared when internships come to my college.

Placement Experience

Our students are available for placements in 5 semesters, and 3 years but internships are provided in the 3rd semester. TCS gives the highest package in SRMCEM. If you want a higher package of placements then your CGPA should be 8.5+.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure per month is 30000 to 35000 and 2 to 3 LPA. In SRMCEM 100% placements facility. Scholarships are provided to these students who are st,obc not for general students. On-campus, jobs are also available in college.

Campus Life

All types of books are available in our college library. In our college, there are many types of sports like football, volleyball, badminton, etc. Our college provides competition in different types of levels like state level, etc

Interview Experience

I joined many group discussions with my friends on the college campus. I'm preparing for interviews so I get placed somewhere to start my career. I listen to my professors, seniors, and friends to know how to prepare for these rounds.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

All Faculties are good and everyone has a lot of experience in their work also support students. Faculty qualification is best and their way of teaching and explaining is also good. Placement Experience:

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.

I also applied for bbd srmcem Lucknow University gl bajaj and knit sultanpur and biet jhansi about of which I was eligible for bbd and srmcem but I opted for SRmcem as it was near my house and in my same district in which I have completed my education till date.I got disqualified from the rest of the colleges as my score was not that much that was required for those colleges as the admission was based on the jee mains score and on aktu.The admission process in college is through jee mains and also direct admission based on 12 and curt marks is also done in my college as it is based on aktu.The cutoff for my college was around 40 percentile in jee mains exams.The overall admission experience was decent....Read More

Raw reality of Srmcem

I chose this college because my father suggested me although this college has good reputation in our parents eye but the child only knows the reality after getting into the college, i wanted to take admission in any of Noida college but there is some financial issues due to which i decided to take admission in lucknow only.
