Remarks

In order to get admission to MSI, you have to give an entrance called IPU-CET for every course, you can get all the details required for admission on the university website. After you clear the entrance you are called for the document verification.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I did my 11-12th from the commerce stream that's why I opted for BCOM HNS. The faculty was also decent, most of the professors were very supportive but some of them were not that great. Exams were also decent not very tough nor very easy, if you study you'll be able to score some pretty good scores.

Internships Opportunities

2

For internships mostly sales roles were offered under internships and the stipend was around 5-10k per month or they were performance-based too. We did a project based on the summer internship we did and we have to give a presentation about the internship we did.

Placement Experience

1

The college took 2k extra as the placement fees in our 3rd year and we got placement offers mostly related to marketing jobs and the packages were around 3-4 LPA. If 20 companies visited 15 of them were marketing jobs. From my batch of 55 hardly 10 people were placed as everyone does not want to apply for a marketing job.

Fees and Financial Aid

In my opinion, the fee structure should be improved as we got pandemic and we didn't get to attend college offline, we were charged the full amount of fees. Even though the infrastructure of the college was not being used we were paying for that too, I believe the college should improve the policy. What will the students with less annual income do in this case. Campus placement was also not up to the expectations, as MSI is known for its placement, we got jobs only around 3 LPA that too with most marketing jobs, and very few finance-related jobs were there (only 2-3)

Campus Life

3.5

Annual fests are conducted Every year which is known as ENVA, we did not get to experience that due to the pandemic. The availability of books is decent, there is a huge library and a book bank is also present in the college. Talking about the sports activities, I personally was involved in the football team of the college and we had an inter-department tournament. We also had 2-3 dance societies. We had different societies in our college for most activities. I was personally involved with the environmental society of college known as PRAKRITI which used to work for the good of the environment by hosting tree plantation drives etc

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
