Remarks

I gave entrance exams for Christ Bangalore, Symbiosis Pune, etc and got admit letters from all the universities. The process was a bit lengthy right from preparation to results and I believe the eligibility is fine however one needs to improve the benefits to general category students. It is unfair to us as we don't get the opportunity the way we desire. You can find the application form quite easily on their website portal and fill in the details. It is commendable as it covers almost everything which should be asked also the application dates were available for a longer period so the process seemed seamless. One thing which I would want to improve in the admission process is the location of the centres. God, that is such a tiresome journey to cover as students need to leave hours early than usual to some random deserted place. If the centres are available more in the heart of the city then students won't be facing many issues commuting. Everything is fine just like the level of the exam

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Keen interest in the commerce subjects since the inception because of family business hence opted for Bcom prog. Let's not even talk about the faculty-student ratio as it is the most uneven thing I have witnessed in the college. Imagine the surprise when you enter the class and there is no seat to sit and no not because the classroom isn't big enough but because students are cramped in way too much. It was difficult to breathe in such an environment when everybody used to be present. Next, if we talk about the qualification of the faculty then I think the teachers were all the way from mediocer to exceptional and so was their teaching method. Some of the teachers like Nishant Sir, Renu Mam, etc., were humble and polite yet disciplined the students aptly also I liked their teaching pattern as they cleared the concepts before moving ahead and made us practice as many questions as possible. Term exams were good to pass if one had studied well not that tough but man sometimes they were nasty

Internships Opportunities

1.5

The college needs to work on its placement cell a lot. I didn't apply nor question or did any concerning thing as I have been selected for master's abroad but my friends did tell me the unavailability of good roles for internships that too with stipends. But I believe some companies did provide some online or hybrid internships to a handful of students but that's it and not many were aware of any such opportunities due to lack of information. Authorities concerned are looking to offer students better opportunities as per their memo let's see what happens next.

Fees and Financial Aid

One of the best things I like about the college was its financial matrix. I mean who can imagine getting graduating by paying 25000 over three years That's insane and crazily beneficial for students like us who plan to save every penny to fund themselves for higher studies, especially abroad. I don't think there was any such fee hike but if there was then it might have been of couple hundred bucks not in thousands for my college as far as I remember. I think it is pretty decent in comparison to other universities. Honestly, I think there were some scholarships or financial assistance for needy students but don't know deeply about it as I didn't require it and almost every student even if they didn't hail from well-to-do families managed to pay the fees quite easily because of how affordable it was. Imagine paying 7-8k over a year it's not even 1000 bucks a month so almost everyone paid on time and never complained. However, don't know about any jobs on campus being offered.

Campus Life

3

Covid sucked the life out of our batch's social life at campus. There was no fest held because of covid and all we did was crib about it but as I have heard there used to happen some annual and tech fests at a great level every year, Library was small and cosy but had a good stock of whatever I DISCOVERED. Availability and maintenance were really good and classrooms were properly equipped with facilities but I believe ventilation with such huge strength always remained a problem to tackle for students as we just couldn't bear the scorching heat of the summers with mear fans working on the lowest speed possible in some of the classes. Rest classes were fine to adjust but still need improvements. The campus was always in energetic mode due to sports and other activities creating a positive buzz and serene view. A lot of sports were played in more than enough space. Arthshastra, dancing societies, etc., were quite popular clubs and societies with a good batch of leaders running them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
