Remarks
The admission process occurred through the JEE(Joint Entrance Examination) Mains. The exam is given by students pursuing science with maths in their secondary studies. The exam is given by about 10 lakhs of students. The cut-off for this course in this college is around 10k in CRL. There are reservation benefits for reserved categories. The application for JEE is done through the NTA.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum includes core courses targeting the electronics and communication field on the extended level. The faculty Staff is supportive and full of knowledge. The interaction in practical's and tutorials along with classes is the most fascinating. There are groups of 60 students per teacher. The exams are fully concept based which is required by most companies.
Internships Opportunities
The companies involved in the major internship and placements are Amazon, American Express, Microsoft, AR cesium, JP Morgan & Co, Goldman Sachs, McKinsey & Company, KPMG, etc. The amount depends on the company and the work. The major amount is around Rs.35k per month.
Placement Experience
The eligibility for college placements is after the 5th semester. The students can apply for their interest in companies for recruitment. There are several hundred companies that visit the college every session. They make a handsome number of offers to students. The highest offer is 75lakhs and a minimum of 4lakhs. The average is around 15lakhs. 80 percent of students get placed in the ECE department. The aim after the degree is software development in the field of my interest.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the semester is 86k. The scholarship scheme is started by the alumni of the college. It is only given to the needy people after completing the verification by the officials. The college placements are awesome. Hundreds of companies visit the college for getting the students in them.
Campus Life
Life is very smooth in the college campus. Everything required is accessible on the campus itself. For entertainment purposes there is organization of annual fest around November or December which is considered to be the one of biggest in northern India. The basic amenities are all well available in the hostel as well as the classroom. A lot of books and study material is available in library for students. There are a number of clubs and students societies which teaches beyond the courses technically and culturally.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel fee is a little high than expected and the accommodation in the boys' hostel is messed up as there is construction work taking place. The meal quality is best and full of nutritional value required for body development.
