Remarks

To take admission to chikara university, HP Only 60 percent is required in 12th class boards. But seats on HP campus are limited so applications are closed soon for HP campus but Rajpura campus has plenty of seats

The faculty is quite good and qualified. The faculty has good experience in teaching. More focus is on the placement of students, so more emphasis is on education rather than events. The faculty has good content for teaching.

Almost every month there is a hackathon that gives students a good opportunity for internships and rewards. Many companies provided internships to a student who qualifies their Criteria for internships.

Placement Experience

Placement starts from the 6th semester for the students of BE(CSE). Mass Reccurator companies like info sis and Amazon etc. visit the university for placements. 70 to 80 percent of students got placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fess structure is as follows Semester-wise fees are taken both of administration and hostel. 70000 is taken per semester college fees and 35000 per semester hostel fees. And 10000 security money is also to be paid in 1st semester.

Campus Life

Lif at the campus is quite good and enjoying it. The library is quite big and contains many books of each type. There are many clubs for dance, singing, sports, etc. Almost every club is run by a student coordinator.

Hostel Facilities

One room is for 4 students, each room has 4 beds, 4 tables, 4 Almira, 4 bookshelves, and 4 chairs. Every room has 2 fans and one cooler. Each room has one balcony. Rooms or PG are very less in the locality, and most of the students are hostlers.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

I applied for BML Munjal University before Chitkara university, Baddi. I got a confirmed admission from many colleges like BML munjal university, GNA university, Chandigarh university, etc. I chose this college over other because it was not too costly and crowd is less compared to other private universities.
