Remarks

The admission process was simple when I joined the college. We simply match our cut-off with the college cut-off and can apply to the college. There are several benefits for backward classes as well for example they can get admission at 1% lower than the general category. We can find further on the college website.

Course Curriculum Overview

I joined b.com from SVC because this is the only best college for BCom from Delhi University. We have approx 200 students in this course. The teachers are well qualified and have great experience in their field. It is easy to pass exams if you study properly and solve past years' question papers.

Placement Experience

The placements at this college are very good. Students are eligible for placement once they completed their 4th sem in BCom. Companies like KPMG, Deloitte, Accenture and Bain usually come to this college and offer great packages. The highest package was around 11 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 4-5 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total cost of doing BCom is approx 48000 for three years and scholarship programs are also available. If you fulfil those criteria, you can get a scholarship and financial assistance and there are so many internships and job offers for students with stipends around 5k pm

Campus Life

Life at the college campus is just amazing. You will find huge diversity and will meet new friends. The name of the annual fest is Nexus. This college has a good infrastructure of a library and sufficient books are ensured there. Amenities are good in college. Huge field for sports like basketball and cricket. Our college is also active in social groups and clubs. There are around 22 societies in our college, you can participate in these as per your interest.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
