Remarks

The admission process is very good. For get admission in MNIT Jaipur we have to clear JEE mains exam. For the general category percentile required is above 96 and for the St, SC category is 90. We find the application form on the jossa website. Everything is mentioned on the jossa website.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I want to become an electrical engineer and I loved this course very much. I am interested in electrical. In the electrical engineering department, there was so many professors and assistant professor. All faculty members have their B.Tech, MTech, and Ph.D. degrees, Many have other degrees and Well qualified faculty. In a semester there were two exams: A midterm exam and end term exam.

Class Size: 114Course Fees: INR 94000 per year

Internships Opportunities

De Shaw, Airtel, Bajaj motors, Tata Steel, Nokia, Amazon, Reliance jio ,Expedia, Cadence, so many companies visits for internship in Mint Jaipur The highest stipend given was 1.5 lakh per month in DE Shaw in 2022. One of my friends is in computer science and programming. And the least is 35k by Expedia.

Placement Experience

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. So many companies visits for placement like Google, Apple, Tech Mahindra, Tata motors, Facebook, DE shaw, and many others. Most of the students get placed 80-90% students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee here every semester is about 58000 if you are from the general category and for the St SC category, it's about 18000. There is a facility of 2/3rd fee remission for students with a family income of fewer than 5 lacs and above a lac. So many scholarships provide to students after admission to the B.Tech. As anuprati scholarship is for getting selected in nit only one time, NSP scholarship and ST-SC scholarship.

Campus Life

The college conducts its yearly fest named Blitzschlag. There are good options for peer groups and if you are interested in robotics or coding, you find it at Mnit. The zine is one of the best clubs of MNIT for robotics where innovations are performed in robotics and artificial intelligence. There are 10 societies under CACS the cultural society of college like NSS, Sports Dance. Singing and many others The library has so many books you require for your course and further knowledge, Journals, articles, monthly journals, and so many things you can read. The classrooms are quite good.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

Mnit jaipur is very good among other nit's, except some minor problems.

I had also applied to nit bhopal where i could get electrical but that was so old infrastructure and its location is also outskirts and choose mnit due to its location and social life and city . Mnit Jaipur top NIT ?

I applied to a few NITs and state colleges but chose MNIT Jaipur because it has better infrastructure, faculty, and placements compared to others. I got admission offers from MNIT Jaipur and one or two other NITs, but MNIT felt more promising for electrical engineering. I faced rejection from some colleges due to lower JEE Main rank. MNIT’s admission is mainly through JEE Main, which is the most preferred exam for most students here. The cutoff for electrical engineering is quite high, around 15000-25000 rank, depending on category. The admission process was straight forward register on JoSAA, choose preferences, and seat allotment happens based on rank. Overall, it was smooth and transparent.
