Remarks

Very Nice Infra but no education standards. There are just buildings to show off.

Entrance Preview

CET, 78%, It has nice infra n environment. But the education quality is very poor infact there were just festi als all around the year.

Internships Opportunities

There was no stipend. There was no Internship offered by the College. You are on your own all the time. You will not be provided anything but have to spend money on everything.

Placement Experience

No job opportunity because there was no placement offer. The companies who come once in a blue moon. They are totally fake. They will just offer you peanuts in the name of salary.

College Events

Techfest and IT Gladiator. Every year 3 days are devoted to Techfest also calles Technical Festival. Every outsider is invited to that techfest. The only good part of that is a Cricket match.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. They will charge you around 3500 for a trimester. But you will have to spend a handsome money to stay in that premises because there are hell lot of other thing on which you have to spend.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. Nothing was offered. There was a bank inside that premises they will just offer you services called deposit here. Thats it. No withdrawal or loan.

Campus Life

There was just politics. Boys Girls ratio is say 7:1.There was no racism but they judge you on you religion. The seniors are just full of shit if you are a first year student and if you dont know anybody.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel was good but mess was really a mess. Nice rooms and large hostel infra but the mess food quality is very poor. You have to pay extra money for good food.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

You take tuitions from them. You will pass out else you will fail. Senior give tuitions and earn good money. If you dont have money to spend on them you will have to study real hard say study your ass off.

Exam Structure

Every month there was a week for tests. There were Minors every month for a single week and there were majors once in every 3 months. Saturdays and sundays were just offers.

Superb standards but poor faculty. There were just politicians or say greedy persons in the name of faculty. You just give them what they want you will get passed else you will not get any marks.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Why I chose LPU ?

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

All about my college

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

Placement Experience:

Good College, Placement and Great Infrastructure and Facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

True experience of a SLIET Student

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. Internship apportunities in SLIET, Longowal

I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
