Our college has online and offline both processes. I took the insurance exam and my rank was 6000. Then I admission this College. This College also has a reservation process to take admission. I admission to electrical engineering.
Course Curriculum Overview
I admission to electrical engineering because I am interested in this course because our faculty members are very good and well educated. They always help me to teach us. In our college internal exam per month and a semester exam after 6 months.
Internships Opportunities
Bassetti which is an IT-based company is taking more students from our college for an internship. They give almost 10k- 15 k in the internship period. Which is a good amount for freshers. They first hire the students and then trained them professionally. The project's maximum is from us and UK. Also TCS, Wipro, etc are offered internships and given a stipend.
Placement Experience
From the 3rd year 6th semester we all are eligible for placement. TCS, Wipro, Bassetti, and many more are coming to our college The highest package from our college campusing is 3 LPA, and the average package as per company in approx 2 LPA. Almost 90- 95% of students are getting placement from our course.
Fees and Financial Aid
I got a Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means scholarship, so I have to pay a very less amount of fees in my semester. It's more helpful for me. There are many facilities are given to you along with the semester fees like internet facilities, and hospitality.
Campus Life
Our college organized a cultural fest every year in January month by the students. We enjoyed it a lot. We also organized a tech fest by the college. Our college has a big library. Every semester we get all books from the library for free. Every year annual sports are conducted by our college. Many indoor and outdoor games are present there. Students participate in any of the games. Yes, our college has a Facebook group and website www. gmitkolkata.org.in college Blood donation camp, and the tree plantation program conducted.
Hostel Facilities
Our facilities are so good, always helpful. 24-hour wi-fi connectivity is provided in the hostel's electricity and water at all times available. Better environment for studying. Life in a hostel makes a student self-independent. Our meal quality is so good. Breakfast tiffin is also available. The registration process is the first collect form from our college.
