Remarks
The admission process is very simple and easy you just have to produce your rank card that's enough to get admission into this college. The minimum requirement is 60 percent in your 12th exam. No application fees are there you can easily apply online on the official website of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Due to my interest in this field, I have chosen this course. The faculty members are very good and they all are very highly qualified from the reputed institutions of West Bengal and outside of West Bengal many of them are also preparing for Ph.D. The exams are held in terms of ca and semester exams and the exams are not that tough to pass.
Internships Opportunities
There are internship opportunities in every branch mainly it is offered in the IT sector. So cse students are far ahead of other branch students in terms of getting internships. Each year many students get an internship in a reputed company named BASSETTI And some other companies also there which offer internship opportunities.
Placement Experience
There are good placement opportunities in our college but it needs some improvement because all the students do not get placement opportunities. This year the placement percentage from ECE is around 70-80 percent. The highest package is 10lpa and the lowest package is 2lpa and the average is 3lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is feasible for our college it is around 320000 for ece background students whereas it is up to 400000 for cse students. All the students from the West Bengal board having 60 percent marks in the board examination are eligible for the SVMCM scholarship which offers 60000 per annum.
Campus Life
The campus life of gmit is very good seniors are very frank if we mess with them with respect. Every year a huge fest is organized in our college this year the budget for the fest was around 24lakhs which the prestigious band named FAKIRA had come and DJ koel was also there. Sports facilities are also there.
