Remarks
I have gone through this college through counseling. I applied on the Tamil Nadu government website. There was 5 round of counseling. The basic eligibility is around 140+ cutoff in 12th. Online we have applied for this college. Once they send me the appointment order. we have visited the college and filled out the application and paid the fees. After 1 week the college started.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen this course because of my interest .chemical engineering is a vast field where we can explore our skills and knowledge, that's the reason I have to choose this course. Here there is more than 25+ staff and most of them have 20 years of teaching experience. The teacher-student ratio is in 1: 5. The exams are quite average. We have to listen to classes carefully.
Internships Opportunities
New generation companies have to give interns for 6 months with a stipend of 20000. Technip has given interns to students with 30k. Most of the company will give interns based on the number of students who got placed in their company.
Placement Experience
From 6 semesters they are eligible for placement drives there is a number of companies will visit our college and do on-campus drives and they will allow us to attend off-campus also. The basic salary is 4lpa. The company like CTS, TCS, Accenture, Infosys, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The general fee structure of KEC through counseling is around 73000 if you were a management person the fee structure is 1,15,000 .there are lots of scholarships arranged by our college. There are a lot of central government scholarships have that been through our college. for a year there will be 11000 rupees of stipend given.
Campus Life
There will be two annual fests will be conducted in kongu engineering college in the name of Enthusia and Swaram. There will be drama, dance, singing, and mime painting, and several activities will be conducted. There are libraries in each department.
