A place worth draming..

Entry into this college is done on the marks acquired in JEE/MHT-CET. Eligibility is 12th pass with a minimum of 45 percent, institute quota is also an option for entry here. The institute-level admission form is available on the website-- rknec.edu. Reservation for the Hindi minorities is available here, and another reservation based on the category is also provided. Here Admission process requires a lot of documents which is too frustrating, non availability of any document can be a burden.

The course for which I opt-in Electronics Engineering, this branch has a total intake of 120 students per year. Faculty: student ratio is around 1 faculty per class of 60 students. The faculty here are well qualified, even though some of them are holding Ph.D. degrees. Exams conducted here are somewhat difficult to pass, the difficulty is medium to high.

Internship opportunities are very well provided here, students get approx 25,000/- (not accurate) stipend in various tech industries. Industry visit is a must in our college, every core branch is allowed to have one.

Usually from the 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited here are Fivetran(25 LPA) Nutanix(21 LPA) ULA (19.5) Amazon(20) VMware(19.5)and many more companies giving more than 10 LPA... The highest package given was 33 LPA and the average stood at 9.9 LPA (IT Branches) About 80% of students were placed here, and many students opt for higher studies. I plan to secure a placement at Amazon.

For the first year, the fee is 1,64,500 rupees. Various Scholarships are provided, the most popular one here is MAHA DBT. Here, for the Hindi-Minority students(the students who have Hindi as their mother tongue), normally all the students belonging to their cast are given scholarships respectively.

Here annual fest is the most common thing, every department organizes its fest every 2-3 months. These events include cultural, Techfest, Hackathons, recently was an e-sport fest which was organized with co-ordination with Facebook gaming. Libraries are well equipped with books on all subjects/departments. Amenities are provided such as ACs in the classroom and LED lights. Sports activities are also the most popular here. Sports like Volleyball, and football are played here. We have also won many tournaments. Extracurricular activities are conducted by various clubs like dance clubs, and drama clubs. Here we have an RCOEM's Student representative council which encourages students to take part in various extra co-curricular activities.

The hostel faculty provided here is good. In-room we have a fan, study tables and beds provided already. The meal provided here is pure veg and the quality is so good. We have special items on certain days in the week like Chinese, pav-bhaji, etc. The registration process for the hostel is done online mode when the admission is completed. Hostel fees here are quite high, they have a fee of 95000 per year, and that too one has to pay in one go not in installments. Here a lot of PGs are provided for the students around the college which are nearby(within walking distance from the college).
