Remarks

Concluding the review I might say this college is the best among the suburbs.the environment is quite friendly and cheerful

Entrance Preview

So i took the admission in this college through Direct Second year admissions ie. on the basis of diploma my final year aggregate was 84% while cut off during was aroud 75%

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Currently i am pursuing btech in extc dept 3rd year, down one year i feel quite satisfied by my choice for opting in this field. Each semester would have 5-6 subjects which helps one to form their basis on technical subjects i feel quite interested on those subjects

Internships Opportunities

Forget about the internship they dont even care if you are interested or not.some faculty might help you to get internships through their personal contacts but college doesn't care about internships and training

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement are good or satisfactory what i can say. Dont expect placement in core companies. Almost IT based companies participate during placement major recruiters are infosys and accenture. Placement records from the past 3years were about 60-80% .the average package offered are between 2.5-3.3 lpa

College Events

4

The college is famous for it various fest. Once the season starts you might be indulged among it. Students actively participate among those events also there are students committe created for the management.they make sure that everything is perfect . Name the sport and it might be present for you to enjoy

Fee Structure And Facilities

Based on the infrastructure the fees structure is feasible. But as compared to other college among Mumbai it has the highest fees about 1.37lkh but considering the infrastructure and facilities it might seem ok. Also the college is situated between two stations so you need to reach there by public transportation this might even cost you

Fees and Financial Aid

there are no loan facilities provided by the college although they might allow one to pay their fees in installments. Some private organisation provides scholarships to students such as tata.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life is quite amazing here. Most of them come from a middle class and well belonged background.i might say the boy to girl ratio is about 100:80 .various cultural and sports events take place throught the year several competitions and workshops are arranged for the students

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facilities are not provided by the college but you might find it very easy to find a hostel nearby.some of my friends are from outstation for them the hostel facilities is quite useful as they say about their experiences is quite satisfactory the hostel mess is also satisfactory

Alumni/Alumna

The college environment is very friendly among the students.seniors helps alot if you need any guidance academically or the other way they try their best to help you.

Exam Structure

I must say there is an compulsory attendance of 75% if you fall below that threshold god might save you. You would be in the target of every faculty and compensation for that is by submitting written assignment 3 to 5 times.labs somewhere provides us hands on experience. The labs are well equipped with all the facilities you might expect

Admission

Although MSBTE provides online cap round allotment of seats but one could simple fill the offline form for direct second year provided by the college which cost around 1.5k according to the merit based 3list would be declared Also being a hindu linguistics minority college some of the seats are reserved for minority

Faculty

3

This is the biggest con of this collage. The faculty strives the best to explain the concept but fails. Mostly study i do is by my self .the faculty are some what experienced but are not able to clear the concepts properly.although they maintain strict academic attendence of 75%

Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
