After giving WBJEE, candidates are selected based on their GMR but if anyone applies for a decentralized or extra counseling process, he or she may have to face interview or GD rounds. Moreover, it's focussed on GMR rank in WBJEE.

The total fees of the college are approx 55000. Many scholarship schemes are available. TFW scheme is also available. The placements are good. Moreover return on investment is good. being a government college, the fee structure is quite negotiable and every student of West Bengal can afford this. Scholarships are easily available and are very helpful for studious but economically backward students. TFW scheme can be used by economically backward students and college tuition fees are easily minimized by this scheme. Even students get 100% scholarships. Moreover, the financial assistance is good.

Placement: it's a new college that started in 2016. So till now, no placements happened as none of the batches has received a degree first batch will get over in June 2020. Internships Till now they don't have any department as such which helps us to find internships but there is one good thing we have proper facilities for getting unpaid training in government PSU (Railway, power grid, state electricity boards, etc).

The placements are good. on-campus placements are available but lower branches students are not so familiar with on-campus. So students opt for MTech and they crack it easily because the teachers and faculty are awesome. The upper branches students get easily placed and can also apply for gate and other campus jobs or PSUs.prev year one student was selected by Google as a side with a 1.3 crore package ( off campus) which proves that coding culture is good.

The campus is big and awesome. Annual and tech fest happens and many big superstars come. The college has a big library and bug grounds and has many clubs and social groups. So other than academics, students will enjoy a beautiful life on campus.

Yes, I have opted for the hostel we have 2 boys' hostels and 2 girls' hostels of around a full capacity of 700 and 400 respectively. Infrastructure is very good and the very huge buildings location is top-notch as our College is in the hilly area just at the top of the hill position. It provides good food but there is a problem with the connection of mobile phones as it's hilly area connectivity is very poor but college wifi works fine.
