Remarks

The admission process was quite fair according to the norms of the university of Delhi Since it helps under the university of Delhi so for admission one needs to appear in CUET Reservation criteria are also availed for students of category OBC /SC/ST / and EWS SPORTS QUOTA reservation is also provided for outstanding players The admission process is fine

Course Curriculum Overview

I saw the variation and demand of this course. Faculty-student is quite impressive with 1:19 Supportive, experienced and effluent faculty with outstanding achievements Exams were on time as per the norms of the university and were easy to pass for those who studied constantly.

Class Size: 1600Course Fees: INR 14700 per year

Placement Experience

Has a good ranking in matter of placement Students are eligible for internship from the second semester But for placements, they are eligible in the final semester Companies visited are Life's Good, Wipro, biotech, Himani plastids and many more to mentions Has 100% placement The highest package ever was by Wipro of 18 lakh per annum of a bcom honours student My plans after graduation are to prepare for ISRO and DRDO jobs as a Data analyst and statistical department.

Fees and Financial Aid

A fee hike is not a big problem as it is under the university of the central government Actually, I prefer after-college job options so no placement or stipend yet Yes but there in case of cost to study it is quite expensive as you need to live and eat on your own outside the college area in nearby colonies

Campus Life

The annual DJ fest is conducted every year in the month of March Monthly debates and dance competitions are being conducted by various societies formed in college for co-curricular activities on premises The college has a large library with thousands of good books and journals that are also easily accessible to students SPORTS: has the best volleyball and cricket team Well-maintained cricket ground with three nets for regular practice Net facility for volleyball players Gymnasium for players indoor table tennis Separate boxing room

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game

I was given this college on the basis of the score in the CUET Exam which i gave after my 12th. It was a tough exam i would say because compiting with 20 Lac plus students for just a seat in DU is not an easy task. While preparing the prefference sheet and combinations for the college in the admission process was a confusing task. So i select all the cobinations of courses and colleges which i was eligible and then i also select my course and college, but i never thought that i would get it, still though i was happy that i get to study in one of the DU college. St Stephens obviously as for Science, its one of the best DU college. The cut-offs on which the admission matters had a massive difference in the kind of marks i had vs the actual cut-off of St Stephens.
