Remarks

I have taken admission on a merit basis. For this, you have to apply for admission to Delhi university and thereafter it releases different cutoffs by the time for different colleges and courses. Then according to the cut-off matched we apply to that particular course and college. But now admission is based on entrance basis.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course because of my background in school. The ratio of faculty and students is quite good. The staff is well qualified but some teachers didn't teach in a better way. The examination is done on a semester basis means at the end of 5-6 months. It is not difficult too much anyone can crack it by studying quite.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 27000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are a lot of opportunities for doing internships in different companies at different positions with quite an attractive stipend. Different companies provide different positions for internships currently Rezo.AI recruiting for the post of sales executive, NeuroSensum recruiting for an HR post etc.

Placement Experience

In the 3rd year of the course, students are eligible for placement. There are different companies who visited the campus for recruiting the students are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Genpact, KPMG, etc. The highest package offered by the company in the year is 12 lakhs per annum. About 228 offers were made by the companies in the last year. I have opted for defence services.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't receive any scholarship or financial assistance because I don't have the information regarding these things. But for the purpose of campus placement or jobs, it didn't apply to this. I have done some internships during this time.

Campus Life

There are different fests of different societies in the college. They organise their fest at different intervals of time. Availability of the books and journals in the college library is good. Classrooms are well furnished and well maintained them. All classrooms are air-conditioned. The sports facilities are quite good. The college has basketball, volleyball, cricket, lawn tennis, gym, badminton and other grounds.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

Sgtb khalsa , hidden gem of NC DU

The college is purely based on merit list except for the seat reserved for Sikh minority. However the crowd here is very mindful and cohesive. People you start getting along with will greet you wherever they see you and always up to help u with anything u want/need. The staff is equally active and works for students through students.
