A genuine review of IMNU

When I applied for the Nirma university the eligibility criteria were to clear the cut-off of ipmat exam and also 65% or above in 10&10+2, but due to covid the university changed the criteria from ipmat to just 10&12th but now it considers the score for ipmat as well as 10&12 criteria. Also, you can find the application form on the official website of Nirma and you need to fill ipmat form as well, application fee during my time was 2k, the admission process is pretty decent and doesn't require any improvement according to me because to be eligible for college like Nirma you need to be a deserving candidate otherwise anyone can avail that.

The course curriculum consists of a trimester system in which there are 9 subjects during each semester and there are exams for the main 5 subjects. I chose this course because of two reasons, one because of the integrated course and another because of the trimester system. The faculty is to student ratio is 8:5.All the faculties in Nirma are well qualified with PhD degrees and they do have great knowledge about their niche subject. The teaching method is theoretical as well as practical in which there are tutorials, lectures, live doubt sessions, movie learnings, etc. Term exams occur over a span of 4 months and it is something that if you are concentrating during lectures then you can easily clear them.

Every year there is compulsory thing to do an internship during the course period that is the summer internship, during the first year for a duration of one month in a Non-government organization second-year internship in a corporate for 1 month and in the third-year 2 months internship in corporate. The roles offered in the internship are according to student interests such as marketing, finance, hr, etc. The outcome of the internship is awesome exposure and an experience to work in the corporates and also offer a Letter of recommendation and full-time jobs if they like the work

The campus placements after MBA have got a 100% guarantee in which companies like CRISIL, HUL, Tata motors, and Deloitte, recruit students and they provide nice packages, the average package for Nirma is almost 900000. The highest package from Nirma was 26 lakh from the finance area. Almost 25+ companies visit every year for the recruitment procedure. My plan after getting a degree is to be an entrepreneur.

The fee structure of Nirma is semi-annually and also they ask you for book fees and activity fees. They also provide scholarships to students having 95% above in 10+2. The opportunity of scholarship is also provided to students who have an income of less than 100000 in a month.

Life at the campus is quite exhausting because of the timings of the college like from 9 am-3pm and after that, you need to prepare for assignments and quizzes which is hectic too. But apart from that, there are many clubs and committees of Nirma university especially management like the dance club Rita Ryan, photography club spin shot, drama club, movies and theatre club, media committees, etc. Social life at Nirma is good enough if you have a good friend circle. The annual fest called genesis is also the best annual fest in which you can take part in many activities dance, drama, etc. Sports life is too good, even the best as the college campus has a basketball ground, tennis ground and volleyball ground, also the cricket ground is huge. The books and journals available in the library consist of almost all the sources and even the research papers are available from SAGE, etc. The amenities available in the classroom are good too, availability of projectors and all makes learning smooth

Yes, there was an interview round during the admission procedure and during that interview, a panel of four members sit for taking your interview and ask you questions related to your general knowledge, financial knowledge and some personal information-related questions. I prepared for the interview round with the help of my TIME coaching mentor, he gave me practice sessions and also some basic knowledge about how to prepare for it.
