Remarks
You need to give JEE Entrance Exam for admission to SAITM. I am from the 2019 batch and I got admission to SAITM through my JEE score. There is also an entrance exam for admission to various courses. I haven't availed any reservation but there are reservation benefits for the student.
Course Curriculum Overview
I did this course as it has good scope, and I am interested in this field. In my batch, there are approximately 50-60 students so the student-faculty ratio is 60:1 Some of the teachers' teaching methods were good and many of the faculty's lectures were boring and the most important thing is that the faculty changes after every month for many subjects, so there is a little bit of problem you can face as there will be difference in there teaching methods of the faculty Due to covid exam patterns and timings drastically changed, apart from that there is little to no difficulty if you study regularly or a day before the exam since the exam repeats the previous year's questions and most of them are theoretical. So you can easily score passing marks
Placement Experience
From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements. We are getting all of the offers through the superset app i.e our college provides job openings for various companies (mostly service based). Students get offers from Companies like TCS, Hanu, Hexaware, UOLO etc The percentage of students placed is very low. 10-15 out of 60 students, also the package is very mostly ranging from 3-4 LPA but it doesn't matter as it depends on all your skills, if you have the right skills and you are confident in your skills getting a good job is not a difficult task.
Fees and Financial Aid
You can get a scholarship on the bases of 12th and JEE scores. I got the scholarship discount in which my tuition fee got discounted a bit. At my time transport fees and tuition fees are the same for the whole B.tech degree which is good to see as opposed to IPU universities which increase fees after every semester
Campus Life
Campus life is a bit boring if u are a day scholar. Since I am a day scholar my life on campus is a bit boring because there are no social groups, no indoor sports for day scholars, a shortage of sports equipment etc. The AC of some of the classes is not good. The computer systems were outdated running windows 7 which can't be used for development purposes. We only have 4-5 good computer systems in one of the labs and the majority of the systems were either outdated or not in working condition. There is the fresher party which is organised for freshers in our college every year which is nice to have. The library has limited availabiltiy of books. One thing which I like the most about our college is that they put focus on building the skills of the students as they bring lots of opportunity and training programmes like Web Dev, DSA etc from pepcoding, presbyters etc without any extra cost to the fees. I will give credit to that. Overall my experience is nice.
