First, I filled out the form. After that, I give the entrance exam i.e TMISAT. My score was 49/80. I get shortlisted for an interview. They ask personal questions and a few technical questions. I passed the interview and proceed to medical, medical also get cleared and now I am on campus studying in the second year.
Course Curriculum Overview
I got selected for BTech Marine engineering. The course is for 4 years with 21lakhs fees. Faculty are well qualified some of them are from the Indian navy and some are from the merchant navy like a captain, chief engineers, and second engineers. In BTech, there are 210 cadets divided into 6 divisions. Total 8 semesters for BTech. In a year 2semester conducted.
Internships Opportunities
So many companies come to TMI for campus interviews. A company such as MAERSK TANKERS, CHEVRON, TK TANKERS, NYK, STENA, BSM, etc. That's why TMI is number one in India. No fees are required for placement.
Placement Experience
Placement starts from 2 years 2semester. Till the end of the fourth year the second semester everyone gets placed so no need of worrying about placement. TMI always helps for placement even after getting a pass out. In 4 years 2semester, we have to do an internship in Tolani itself.
Fees and Financial Aid
Semester fees vary from 2-3 lakhs i.e in a year 5 lakhs. For scholarships, we get based on IMU semester percentage and credit points. Credit points we get from curricular activities. The higher the credit points percentage will also increase. Placement starts from 2 years 2semester.
Campus Life
Campus life is a very busy schedule starting at 6 am end at 9:30 pm. The infrastructure is very nice for sports there are athletic track, swimming pool, football ground, badminton court, clubhouse, volleyball court, basketball court, cricket pitch, etc. For the internship, a dummy ship is also present.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is very nice single two cadets can stay. We can't step out of the hostel without a proper pt rig or uniform. Food is also nice proper schedule is prepared for food. Wardens are always present with us. In case of emergency, sickbay is provided.

No, students of Tolani Maritime Institute Pune have to pay their tuition fees and hostel fees separately. The tuition fee has to be paid by all students while the hostel fees have to paid by hostellers only.
