Course Curriculum Overview

5

There are two semesters per year so there are two-semester exams that are easy to sail through if you have attended classes properly if not then go for ten years of paper and you are good to go. Every semester has 4 subjects so in total, you will study 24 subjects throughout your course. And what is best about it is the faculty members who are very learned and help students in every possible way their pedagogical teachings make these subjects even more interesting.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Students can do internships in so many domains, Like human resources, digital marketing, finance, NGOs, etc. There are two types of internships. Paid or unpaid but both are wonderful to add great learning and add points to your CV. Students must do at least 1 internship during their college.

Placement Experience

4

Generally, placements start from the last second semester of the course for which you need to be updated by the placement cell of your college. The package goes as high as 17 to 20 lakh per annum. Some of the renowned companies like Deloitte and Accenture participate in the placement drives. Even if you are not sitting in placements you can get n number of offline opportunities. or may opt for higher education.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is very affordable. The median fee of 3 years of the course is 10000 and this can be filled by availing of the NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME. There is one facility for women to avail of medical facilities by filling out a form. Also, there are plenty of internships coming up your way that can support your expenses. The good thing about KMC is it does not have any extra fees like the examination fees.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is full of adventure, learning, meeting new people, and enjoyment, It has a gym (free). So many societies and clubs like sahas, FIC, and music. It also has an activity center and playground. The library is not that spacious but you can get a wide variety of books on different genres including your course books. There is a fest in Feb and March which is the best time of the whole year full of fun, competitions, food, DJ nights, and celebrities' appearance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
