Remarks

It was quite easy, there was no entrance exam during my time of admission. We took admission on the basis of the percentage of class 12th. The cutoff was 70%. I will suggest starting taking entrance exams. You can find the application form on Google and offline too. Fees are 33000 for BCom.

Course Curriculum Overview

I persuade BCom because I want to do MBA after that. After completing bcom I will have options about my career. Faculty: student is 100:5 Every teacher is highly qualified and their teaching method is good.

Placement Experience

Last year students become eligible for campus placement. The average package as per the company can be said 12000 and the highest 18000 50% of students are getting placed here. My plan after getting this degree is to do an MBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is average compared to the college For bcom hons it's 33000 There is a scholarship kind of thing and no part-time jobs are available. We have to find our own job. We haven't got any job from campus yet

Campus Life

Our annual fest name is ripple and it is organised in the month of May. It is very good. You can see many talents here. Mostly every useful book are available and many are not also. Many sports and extracurricular activities are organised.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

You need to score a minimum of 75% aggregate in your board exams to get into our college.
