I have taken the well-known entrance exam, WBJEE to get into the college. My rank was somewhere close to 44k. You can get into the college even based on your JEE rank. You can also book your slot for admission by visiting the college website.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I have chosen is Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). The curriculum designed by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) is followed by the college. You can find details about the syllabus and curriculum by visiting the MAKAUT official website. Talking about faculties, they are very much helpful and their way of teaching is awesome. The teacher-to-student ratio is also good.
Placement Experience
The average package of the college is 4.5LPA. In previous years, the placement stats have taken a sharp rise. Many students gets offers from different different companies. Major recruiters include Walmart, Optum, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Publicis Sapients, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fess for the course varies semester by semester, However, it will not exceed 90k per year. If you opt for a hostel, then you have to pay 30k per semester for the hostel. One important thing to note here is that the hostel is completely vegetarian. There are many government scholarships for which you can apply from the college. Student credit card is also accepted.
Campus Life
In simple words, campus life is awesome. The campus is completely ragging-free. The infrastructure of the college is also good. There are different clubs in the college like E-CELL, NSS, CODECHEF, CODE VISION, ROBOTICS, etc. You can join any club that you think is suitable for you.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is good. The food served here is completely vegetarian. Two beds are there in each room in my hostel building along with two tables and two chairs. Two students are accommodated in one room. Also, buildings for different years students are different.
