For taking admission into Visvesvaraya National institute of technology Nagpur or any other Nits we have to give Jee mains exam, the form for the exam can be found on the official JEE Mains website. In every nit, they provide a 4-year Btech program. Application fees for jee mains are 650 rupees. If you are OBC, SC, ST, or girl's category then you are under good benefits as in admission cutoff and then tuition fees.

I choose the course Electrical and Electronics Engineering because of my interest and because of my rank also. The placement scenario for branches like Computer science engineering, electronics engineering, and electrical and electronics engineering are pretty good compared to other core branches in Visvesvaraya National institute of technology. Faculty to student ratio is very good in VNIT as it is around 1:30 . All the professors are highly qualified and knowledgeable and their teaching method is also great. We have to appear for 2 sessional exams of 15 marks each and then 1 end semester exam of 60 marks and the remaining 10 marks are internal markings based on attendance, quiz, viva, or maybe on teachers' mood. The passing percentage is good as 80+% clear their exam without taking any re-exam.

Internship culture at Visvesvaraya National institute of technology Nagpur is good but can be improved by several companies coming for internships. Internships are provided in huge numbers for computer science students but not that good for other branches. Although if you have gathered your required skills you can get an internship. As one student gets interned in Oracle which pays big. Having projects in your resume can increase your chances of getting internships.

Placements in Visvesvaraya National institute of technology Nagpur is continuously increasing as several companies visiting each year increases every year and average placement also increased. After the 6th-semester companies start visiting and you can sit for campus placements. The highest package this year 2022 is 64 lakh per annum and the average package is between 9-10 lakh per annum. Almost 80% of students get placed considering all branches combined although circuital branches get more percentage placed than others.

The fee Structure for a Bachelor of Technology in Visvesvaraya National institute of technology Nagpur is: we have to pay semester tuition fees of around 70,000 twice in the year making it 1,40,000 in one year, and hostel fees are 80,000 per year. As in every nit, this nit also provides 2/3rd fee remission for students whose parent's income is less than 5 lakh per annum and full tuition fees remission for those whose parents' income is less than 1 lakh per annum. SC and ST Students also get full 100% fee remission irrespective of their parent's income. Other financial assistance and scholarships are also available from the central and state government side but we can take one scholarship at a time. Jobs and internship opportunities are pretty good on campus.

Life on the campus is amazing because of the good hostel and mess facilities. The annual fest of Visvesvaraya National institute of technology is one of the biggest fests in central India and the name of the fest is AAROHI. It usually takes place in November. Library facilities is also good in VNIT but it can be more spacious as during exam time it always gets full. Although books and journals are available in good amounts. The classroom complexes are pretty as it is having good benches smart boards, normal boards and ac, and fan facilities. Sports facilities are also available to each and everyone interested as there are a football ground, cricket ground, lawn tennis ground, and an indoor sports complex for badminton, table tennis, chess, and other sports. Chess club, prayaas club, dramatics club, mag club, etc clubs are present.

Hostel facilities are available to all students who want them. There are separate hostel blocks for every year's student and hostel rooms are spacious and cupboards, chairs, tables, and, LAN connections are available in each room for each student. Mess food is also good and hygienic, mess facilities are provided 4 times in a day. We can apply and change the menu once in a month with the help of the same-year student mess secretary. Hostel fees are 22000 per semester and mess fees are 18000 per semester so 40000 per semester for mess and hostel facilities and 80000 per year for hostel and mess facilities.
