Remarks
For taking admission to Tolani B.Tech Marine Engineering, our 12 marks should be above 60%. To get into college, we have to give an entrance exam, immediately after exam we have to give interview and after clearing we have to go for medical and physical test.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty members are very nice and supportive they are well-qualified. Faculties are divided into the academics section and a practical section. Practical means workshop and PVD i.e. dummy ship on the campus. Two times Exams are conducted in a year.
Internships Opportunities
Some companies have policy of doing internship in PVD. PVD is dummy ship in campus itself. If not placed till 4th year we have to do internship by our own in Tolani. Company such as NYK, MARSEK TANKERS, SHEVRON, BSM, Pacific Ocean, chellaram, Tk tanker and many more.
Placement Experience
Placement in Tolani is 100% both for Marine Engineering and nautical science. Diploma guys are already placed they want to take placement from the company and take admission in Tolani. Companies start visiting in the second year and second semester and start picking cadets.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is 21 lakh for 4 years including hostel fees mess fees. We get scholarship on basis of percentage scored in semester and credit points we get on the basis of event participation. In Tolani company comes for campus interview.
Campus Life
In Tolani there are so many clubs like cultural club, jigyasa club, singing club, MMA(mixed martial arts club) and so many. Library, classroom with air conditioned, PVD i.e. dummy ship, workshop and sports zone ground etc.
Hostel Facilities
There are 3 hostels H1, H2, and H3 girls stay in H2. And the rest of them in H1 and H3. Mess food is very nice schedule is set for food. The quality of the food is very nice and we can take as much as we want. The location of hostel is within the campus.
