All over TMI is one of the best Maritime Institute in India.

To get admission we need to sit for an entrance exam, called TMISAT. Then they take a small interview round. I got to know about this application form through the TMI's site. You need to pay thousand rupees to fill it up. The admission process is quick, once you get admission you won't regret it.

I choose this course because I want to become a marine engineer and a Chief Engineer. Each year consists of 6 divisions and each division has 35 average students. The teachers and the faculties are well-qualified and their teaching style is very good. Also, we are having OHP, Projector. The time is less for completion but the level of the term exam is decent.

Many companies like (MT., MAERSK, LINE STENA, FLEET, TK TANKERS, NYK MOL, BSM, BW). Some of the companies offered in campus internship. We are having own campus ship for better practice, and knowledge.

Many companies come here for hiring such cadets by their own selection process. The cadets are getting packages between 10 to12 lacs per annum. In our course the placement percentage is decent close to 90%.

The fees are good according to the facilities that TMI is giving. Yes, TMI provides many scholarships for both boy and girl cadets. The cost of the study is decent, I can't say it is overpriced. They also give financial assistance. After getting placement, we get a stipend also from the company that hires us.

The campus life is awesome. Also, we have had several fests based on several occasions. We have inter-house competitions over everything where cadets showcase their talent through this. The benefit of the Library are here, a large collection of books is stored in different sections so that you don't have a problem finding any books. The classroom decorum is good, having different facilities like OHP, and Projector.

The room in the hostels is quite good. A big window is there for ventilation and sun rays. The meals are decent and we are having different food on different days, there is a variation in foods. The whole thing of payment is included in your admission.

Yes, you may face some gd in your semester exams and also the test pattern is very simple. You can also mail them through their mail id given on their website. They will contact you or for further detail, you can call them directly. TIM has its admin facility to help you out. For the admission round, you need to concentrate on your 12th and 11th PCM subjects.
