Admission to this Medical College is only through NEET. You must have PCB on the 12th. Application form for this entrance is available on the NTA website every year. Yes, 85 percent state quota reservation and 15 percent aiq. And other reservations such as PC, SC, and ST are also there.
Course Curriculum Overview
Very good faculties all are Doctors and Professors. There are 4 Medical Board exams conducted for a total of 4.5 years and internal exams are also there. The passing percentage is 50 percent. And it depends on you how you studied that decide your pass or fail.
Internships Opportunities
There is a one-year compulsory internship in this college and you get a stipend average of 30k per month. You practice as a doctor with senior doctors. And learn much clinical knowledge. How to handle patients. It is under the government of Odisha, no company runs it.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee is approximately 5 lakh for the whole course for 5 years. There are many government scholarships such as emedhabruti and prerana are there and also many private scholarships are there to assist students financially.
Campus Life
There is an annual function organized by the student union every year. The hostel facility infrastructure and college are very good infact it is the no 1 govt medical College in Odisha. There are libraries, study room mess, etc. Sports are also good every year inter batch competitions are there.
