Remarks

I passed my WBJEE examination in 2020 and depending on the WBJEE result I was admitted to this university. After the publication of the West Bengal joint exam result, my joint counseling was started. Then after a few days depending upon the result, college names are published. Then I have to select a college to admit to.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I love the pharmacy profession very much. Faculties are very qualified and knowledgeable and they try to make every student understand their teaching. The course curriculum is very relevant as per PCI. We have four CA exams and two PCA exams and one semester every 6 months.

Class Size: 15Course Fees: INR 44000 per year

Placement Experience

From last Semester students become eligible for campus placement. Top recruitment companies for my Pharmacy profession come and students got placements. Placement is average. Almost 90% of our 4th-year students got placed or did an internship in big companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have to twenty-two thousand rupees every six months. This is very difficult to pay large amounts of money for four years. I applied for a scholarship at SVMCM scholarship and I got it. From this scholarship, I pay my college fees and mess charges.

Campus Life

Our campus life is very good. Most of the students are from their home state. No language challenges, mostly English is used on campus. There is no restriction for native languages. Limited sports facilities are present but multiple sports grounds are present. All types of books are available in the library.

Placement Experience:

Placement are not so good but I can confirm you that if you are good in studies then you will have a min package of 50LPA .Every pharma companies in india or out india contains our alumnis as well as you will get a polite and respectful behaviour in every company after knowing you r passed out from Iopj .

This is the oldest Pharmacy college in India

Remarks:

The college is a good college it is situated beside the district hospital and there is morgue beside it. So students will se many dead bodies been taken. This may be problem for weak heart students. But I thing for a pharmacists he/she should be able to see dead bodies.

Remarks:

Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri is the 1st Pharmacy college in Asia. This is the only one government college in West Bengal. Labs infrastructure is very poor. 100% Placement are done. Our college is very good Pharmacy college in India.

By WBJEE or AIEEE exam you have got a rank for admission in this college.There are 3 concealing process by the wbjee rank card. Then you have to varify your document in reporting centre , after that you go to the college for the admission.
