Remarks

The college is one of the most premium college in the industry. The name, crowd, location, street food, education, faculties and all the other things are one of the best in Mumbai.

Entrance Preview

I was admitted to the college on the basis of merit and cut off basis. No interview process was held during the admission process. I opted for this college as this college includes 'NMIMS' and i wished to stay in the same campus.

Internships Opportunities

As i was pursuing other course as well (CA), i was not eligible for the internship program. However, I was selected in Deloitte Haskins and Sells for internship. The stipend was 18,000 per month in the beginning. Companies like JP Morgan Chase, ITC, Hyatt, Serco, etc were part of internship program.

Placement Experience

3.5

About 80% of the students were placed in some or the other companies, the placements ran through the week. The salaries ranged from 3 lakhs per annum to 6 lakhs per annum for companies like Deloitte, EY, Bank of America, Duestch Bank, JP Morgan, Serco, etc.

College Events

5

Kshitij is an annual event held in the college. It is one of the most prestigoues festivals in Mumbai. Many celebs form part of the fest. including Shahid Kapoor, Danny Denzongpa, Arijit Singh, and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very feasible. The fee structure ranged from 2000 p.a to 3500 per annum. The college also provided many travel facilities included trains and bus allowance.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college provides a number of sponsorship facilities on merit and need basis. They range from stay, education, travelling, etc.

Campus Life

4

The beautiful campus and its awesomely maintained campus has been a memory making lane for me and all the students. This had guitar places and indoor games.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facility was provided by SVKM, a charitable trust which again provides a state of the art facilities and beautiful rooms.

Alumni/Alumna

Well, the only college where you will not find any difference between Junior and Seniors. The faculty who left us are always remembered and missed. The seniors and the teachers are helpful and ragging is a complete no no.

Exam Structure

The exam structure was as per the rules framed by Mumbai Univesity. Well managed infrastructure, Air conditioned areas, etc.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty are top notch personalities with beautiful minds. The scale of education and disclipline is comforting and includes good practical experience.

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
