Remarks
We had to clear the initial entrance exam i.e. NPAT. According to our results, we were allotted our respective campuses. The application form can be found on the NPAT website. Application fees are around Rs. 2000. There are no reservation benefits. I do not want to suggest any improvements to the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because of my Marketing interests. The curriculum in NMIMS is holistic and covers all the course's aspects. The faculty at NMIMS is very helpful and supportive of your studies and co-curricular activities too. They are a bit strict regarding the lecture timings. Each and every professor is very experienced and had intense knowledge about the subject taught by them. We had 2 semesters every year. Exams were conducted on a mid-term basis and end-term basis. These exams were designed to test the deepest knowledge of the students in the subjects that were taught in the class.
Placement Experience
The placements at our college are not so good. Most startups hire from our college with an average package of 3-4LPA. 57% of students get placements. Startup environment is good for the career but the package offered is not what we were promised in the orientation
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no fee hike policy. The fee is constant for the 3 years of graduation. If due to some financial problems you want to opt for the EMI option, that is also available. No scholarship is provided. Campus placements are not so good.
Campus Life
Vaayu was the annual fest for our college. Availability of books, journals & notes is near and inside the campus too. The classroom is tech-savvy with smartboards and other stuff. Seats are comfortable and ACs are there in each classroom.
