The cutoff for BEIT was 100 marks, the admission process was easy, and I didn’t avail any quota I am from the general category, I applied to this college because of its placement stats as my colleagues have nearly 100 per cent placement for CS, IT, etc Also, my college had good sports culture and so many tech events
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the Information Technology branch because I had an interest in coding and programming Also, the faculty for IT was good in my college and there are a total of 10 professors for IT so it was a good ratio of teacher to student, college was under SPPU but now it’s autonomous Teachers are highly qualified
Placement Experience
Many companies come at the start of the final year and make generous offers For CS, IT, and EnTC nearly all students get placement Most companies offer roles of software engineer, tester, and analyst but one disadvantage is most of the companies are service-based and not product based
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of the college was 94500 for the 2018 batch and the college had a policy for a fee hike of 10,000 every year so it must be around 2,50,000 now But college has good placements as many Mnc shows interest like Capgemini, nVidia, Tiaa, FinIQ
Campus Life
Hostel and campus life was fun All festivals are celebrated very nicely College fest MAFFIA is beast Also, cultural events are awesome In tech events, anyone can show off their knowledge There are NGOs also working in colleges and run by students Annual sports events are awesome as nearly all sports are played on college premises
