To get admission in mnit jaipur, students have to appear for entrance examination- JEE MAIN . (for graduation level courses ). students have to apply through JOSSA counselling and can fill their choices for this college and branch of their choice. Jossa counselling is conducted every year just after the jee advance exam. There is reservation system based on caste like gen , gen ews,obc, sc , st ,pwd and based on gender male and female, and also based on state - home state quota and other state quota like for mnit jaipur students who gave 12th exam form rajasthan are under home state category and other than rajasthan are other state category. Application fees for jossa counselling is INR 2000. There is no need of any such improvement in admission process.

I am pursuing metallurgical and materials engineering as I am interested in manufacturing industries like TATA ,reliance and many other , so I found this branch appropriate for me. In our department there are highly qualified professors and assistant professors with minimum qualification of phd in many domains of research. All of them have worked and gained experience in major companies of steel making , materials processing , metal extraction etc. Teaching method is quite good. All of them are very responsible for taking their classes and also quite flexible if students appeal them to cancel the class for an appropriate reason. Term exams are conducted in proper time with complete submission of syllabus in class. If someone has attended majority of classes then it is not difficulty to get passing marks.

There are lot of opportunities for internships for cse ,ece ,ee department. Recently students are getting stipened of 1 lakhs by morgan stanley. There are relatively less opportunities for core branches for on campus internships. Job role offered are sde, front end developer, backed dev , data analyst, data scientist, team lead role etc

Students are eligible from 7th sem onwards for on campus placement. This palcement season nearly 250+ companies visited in campus for hiring. Highest package was of 64 LPA from apple company for sde role. Highest placement was from cse department. Overall avg package is of 11 LPA. Nearly every student get placed who was eligible for sitting in placement process. My plan is to get placement in good company.

Fees is very affordable .there is no fees hike policy in the college. In fact there is fee remission policy as- For sc /st , there is zero tution fees. For other students having income less than one lakh annually have to pay zero tution fees. For students having income between 1 to 5 lac , get remission of 2/3 of total tuition fee . Hostel fee is 32000 per semester including mess fees. There is development fees of 15,300 per semester and actual tution fee is 62,500. There are many state and national scholarships available for students of various categories which are announced to students timely.

Campus life is good at mnit . There is annual cultural fest called "blitzslag". Many colleges take part in this fest . There is central library which is quite huge . There you will get almost every book of your course ,novels of your choice and also the journals. Library is fully air conditioned. All the lectures are conducted in vivekanand lecture theatre complex (vltc), which is Asia's largest lecture hall. It is very very huge with large sized classrooms , fully air conditioned. There are total 4 floors in this building. There is student activity centre in this vltc where there are many indoor sports for students. Also it have gym with all necessary machinery but not trainer. There are various dedicated grounds for various sports like volleyball, basketball, cricket ,lawn tennis , badminton ,etc. There are many students runned clubs like dance , singing, photography, coding, nss, world heritage ,etc.

There are 10 boys hostel and 3 girls hostel. In first year , they allot triple sharing room and afterwards single sharing room for everyone. In triple sharing rooms each of them get their separate bed , table , chair , big almirah, light and fan . There are some hostel which have wifi which do not get speed inside the rooms but only near the router. And some have LAN which have good speed. Mess food is also quite good . Sometimes the food quality is degraded but if someone say to them they try to improve the next day . Also they provide 4 meals in a day . Every mess has a mess committee whose members are the students of that mess , so the mess menu are decided by the students . After each semester we pay fee for hostel and mess on their erp portal .
